Advanced Energy Economy's Petition Filed with FERC on Kentucky's Energy Efficiency Resources

On June 2, 2017, AEE filed a petition with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regarding participation of energy efficiency resources in regional transmission organizations' wholesale energy markets.

This Petition stems from the recent PJM Interconnection proposal to initiate a stakeholder process to develop revisions to its tariffs, manuals, and other governing documents that would give State commissions and other retail regulators authority to bar, restrict, or otherwise condition the participation of EERs in PJM’s capacity market.
